LAURENT-PERRIER STRIKES GOLD
Laurent-Perrier Awarded Best in Show at Chelsea
Laurent-Perrier Champagne celebrated its tenth year at the prestigious RHS
Chelsea Flower Show, with the coveted ‘Best in Show’ accolade for a garden
designed by top UK designer Tom Stuart-Smith.
Stuart-Smith’s gold medal winning design was influenced by Laurent-Perrier
Champagne’s elegant and understated style. The garden juxtaposed calming
waves of green planting with zinc tanks, brimming with steadily overflowing water.
Laurent-Perrier Champagne, renowned for handcrafting fine champagnes,
continues to sponsor art in its many forms throughout the year, including garden
design (Laurent-Perrier is the official champagne at the 2008 RHS Flower shows),
modern and contemporary art (including London’s Frieze Art Fair),
and performing arts (Grange Park Opera).
Laurent-Perrier’s tenth show garden was supported by Laurent-Perrier Rosé
Champagne - the ultimate champagne to enjoy on an al-fresco summer’s evening.
